Param Aalay

Laar

Each religion or sect has spoken about the immense significance of Laar or Saliva. It is referred to as the sixth sense organ and is the second sheath of the body, also called the Bhaav Shareer or the Swadhishthan Chakra, hence it is the closest to the physical body. The third sheath is that of thoughts and the fourth of bhaav. Work on the body starts with first the physical and then on the saliva and onwards. This sheath comprises of emotions which nature has bestowed upon man to be able to survive. These emotions are fear, hatred, anger, violence, greed and attachment. The journey of self evolution from man to divine starts by transforming these emotions into Abhaya ( state of no fear), karuna(Compassion),Prem(Love )and Maitri (friendliness ).

The foundation is laid with Right food to make the earth element strong at the Mooladhar, after which the work on the laar or the saliva and consequitively, the emotions starts. Once we understand the science behind the PH of the saliva, the blood, it becomes easy to make ourselves strong. The saliva is purified in just about 21 days with the help of simple prayogs that Param Aalay has formulated.

The Prayog

The saliva is retained in the mouth during all prayogs and gulped in only at the end of the prayog with a resolve repeated three times.

The sadhak or the seeker eats and drinks only three times in 24 hours. One meal comprises of grains, the other is alkaline with fruits and seeds and the third is only water.

For beginners, the saliva is retained in the mouth for as long as possible and only gulped in consciously when necessary, with a resolve.

The saliva is the most important oorja or energy in the body also referred to as the Rasendri which when mastered, gives rise to immense powers.

We have destroyed ourselves by weakening the saliva. Man is only a machine which is triggered by external influences. To change this, work on the saliva and the emotions is very important. And again, it is important to remember that suppression is another extreme. The work of transformation of the emotions can only be done under the strict and able guidance of someone who has mastered it.

The laar or the saliva is connected to the second sheath of our body, i.e., the Swadhishthan Chakra. A good example is when the Muslims perform Rozas and the Hindus fast. “ Upwas” means to be seated near oneself. And when one is seated near oneself, the salivary glands secrete the right amount of saliva, neither too little nor too much. This is an indication that the salivary glands are working perfectly. People in the old days had a powerful personality because of a powerful saliva. Their word was their honour. They could sacrifice their life in honour of their word. Today, there is no coherence in people. They speak one thing one moment and in the other totally negate what they said.

The importance of the saliva cannot be underestimated.
