Jyoti

The flame is a symbol of going from the darkness of ignorance to the light of knowledge. It is the essence of all prayers. The rishis have sung in the Upanishads: Tamaso ma jyotirgamaya!

The flame symbolises the journey from the seen to the unseen: drishya se adrishya ki yatra!

The flame of knowledge can only be lit within when all the 5 elements that we are composed of, are awakened. Thus the prayog includes a small copper lotha (vessel) filled with water, above which is placed a small bowl with whole grain (preferably wheat) which symbolises the earth and water element .The flame symbolises the fire element, and all this is done in the presence of wind and the sky to complete the pious process.

Hands are the doors to the brain. Anything creative always makes use of our hands. And the most important instruments given to humans are our fingers. The top of our fingers have the ability to attract the vibrations. This is a powerful Hatha Yoga Technique to strengthen the instinctive and moving centers of the body. It increases our will power

The Prayog:

This technique is practiced early in the morning for 24 or multiples of 24 minutes.

The body is erect with the feet apart in balance, arms stretched out in the air with palms facing one another and eyes are shut. We have to feel the air, listen to the sounds.

This technique is directed towards the awakening of courage and will in the body without which the journey to self realisation cannot begin.

Right Brain Technique

“Buddham Sharanam Gachhami “
I go to the Buddha for refuge
“Dhammam Sharanam Gachhami”
I go to the Dhamma for refuge
“Sangham Sharanam Gachhami”
Buddha is the one who takes us from the darkness of ignorance to the light of wisdom. Dhamma is the Here and Now

Sangha means a community without which awakening is not possible.
This 10 minute active meditation technique is a simple yet powerful technique to increase the sharpness and concentration of the brain. This technique aligns the three fires of the body, that is, the fire of the belly or Jatharagni, the fire of desire, Kamagni and the fire of knowledge, gyanagni. It also balances both solar and lunar plexuses in the body thereby activating the left and the right brain. The right brain is connected with the lunar plexus and the left brain with the solar plexus.

Balancing

When the body is erect and feet balanced, that is, parallel to one another, there is a flow of energy in the body. The solar and the lunar plexuses get activated instantly which improves the body balance and activates the brain instantly . With the activation of the surya Naadi and the Chandra naadi, the Sushumna nadi gets activated which facilitates the flow of energy to the brain. The same applies while walking. If the feet are placed straight, the body is aligned and so is the flow of energy within.

The Prayog:

Anytime of the day is suitable for this simple technique. While traveling, in office, in kitchen or at home, you just need to keep your legs parallel with a length separating them equal to that of your shoulders and feel the pressure on both of them.

Nataraj

You’re not the body
Where ever the mind is, you’re not

Yoga sutra says we have 727210210 nerves in the body. Science says that each cell has uncountable nerves. These arteries and viens secrete mucous just like the saliva is secreted in the mouth. This mucous dries up gradually and that is the reason food doesn’t get digested and diseases enter the body. If the mucous secretion is healthy not a single bacteria can enter the body whether it be dengue, malaria or swine flu. The mucous strengthens the immunity of the body. Nritya is a powerful technique to increase the mucous secretion in the nerves and the this secretion is facilitated by the movement of the elbows and knees during nritya

Right Food

Anna Se Brahma ki Yatra

The Journey to the Divine begins with Food

If the food , our fuel, is right, the journey to self discovery becomes a celebration.

“Aahaar” not just means what is ingested through the mouth but it includes all that is taken in through the touch, the smell, the ears and sight, the “Chaitsik Aahaar” because it not only feeds the physical but the mental and cosmic self as well. Hence the great emphasis on how the food is prepared, how it is served and how it is eaten. It is not just the physical and chemical properties in food that determine who we are but the cosmic properties that play the most crucial role in the journey called life.Lunch is a time of celebration and we start the celebration with Nritya.

Clapping

This is a powerful prayog to instantly stimulate the flow of energy within and strengthening the magnetic aura. There are 108 points in each palm and 108 in the sole of the feet. These points are connected to all the organs. The pain while clapping is an indication of inflammation in the organs. These are like the gas burner which gets clogged with carbon. While clapping , the carbon is removed to strengthen the organs. Also, all degeneration in the organs is due to inflammation. Clapping charges the points with oxygen to remove the carbon from the points and hence the organs.Clapping balances the gravitation and the levitation in the body.

The energy that awakens wisdom and courage lie dormant in the elbows and knees respectively. This prayog helps awaken these dormant energies.

Laar

Each religion or sect has spoken about the immense significance of Laar or Saliva. It is referred to as the sixth sense organ and is the second sheath of the body, also called the Bhaav Shareer or the Swadhishthan Chakra, hence it is the closest to the physical body. The third sheath is that of thoughts and the fourth of bhaav. Work on the body starts with first the physical and then on the saliva and onwards. This sheath comprises of emotions which nature has bestowed upon man to be able to survive. These emotions are fear, hatred, anger, violence, greed and attachment. The journey of self evolution from man to divine starts by transforming these emotions into Abhaya ( state of no fear), karuna(Compassion),Prem(Love )and Maitri (friendliness ).

The foundation is laid with Right food to make the earth element strong at the Mooladhar, after which the work on the laar or the saliva and consequitively, the emotions starts. Once we understand the science behind the PH of the saliva, the blood, it becomes easy to make ourselves strong. The saliva is purified in just about 21 days with the help of simple prayogs that Param Aalay has formulated.

Spine Upright

Man is the only species to have a vertical spine and his ability to look up at the sky, the limitless makes him unique. He has immense inherent powers lying dormant which can only be awakened when  in complete sequence. The 33 vertebrae in the spine are a storehouse of energy which can only be released when the spine is erect. The flow of energy goes to the brain unconstructed .It is only then that one can absorb and retain what is spoken.

Introduction to the prayogs

Biologically man has evolved completely. What remains is the psychological revolution. There have been very few souls on this earth to have evolved psychologically and these souls have blessed the earth with their wisdom.

We’re not very different from our prehistoric ancestors as far as our inner attributes are concerned. Externally we have evolved and changed under the garb of civilisation and technology but inside were shrouded with the same instincts , greed, anger, jealousy, attachment, fear, hatred and jealousy. To transform consistent and sequential hard work on oneself is required under the guidance and direction of a master.

The signs of inner evolution are the awakening of courage and will in the body followed by  prudence and bliss. This is only possible with prayogs. Paramaalayji has formulated various techniques to awaken courage, Will , prudence and bliss in the body. A short description follows.

Samarpan

Our body has a mechanism which connects the mind. Every posture associates thoughts and feelings with it. This technique develops gratitude and the feeling of egolessness.

The Prayog:

We bend on our knees and rest on the feet. The 7 seven parts of our body – 2 palms, 2 knees, 2 toes, and 1 fore head-nose, they touch the ground and a transfer of energy occurs. As we bend, our spine also prepares for the absorption of energy. This technique is the technique of let go.

Sacred Moments

GI.Gurdjieff’s powerful techniques on the path of mastery over oneself which is refffered to as the “Fourth Way”,is the way to enlightenment through self observation and development. He collected these techniques from various schools and traditional practices through his extensive travels in the East and the West. These techniques are based on the Principles of the Octave and the Traid which symbolise the harmony and the perfect order in the Universe. Man is a machine and his entire life is merely a compilation of reactions to external influences. To evolve is to break through this mechanicalness. This technique serves the purpose to a large extent.

Whirling

The goal is to empty oneself. It is when the mind and the body don’t exist then the consciousness emerges in its purest form. The essence of the Sufi dance is a communion with the divine. The dancer whirls as the earth around the Sun and so achieve harmony with the universe itself. As the planets rotate so the dance is performed spinning from the left side: the heart side.

Thousands of years of religion have developed a deep knowledge of the human mind and techniques that bring about a change in us. Whirling is a physically active meditation which originated among certain Sufi groups. Paramaalayji has meticulously designed the day of the saadhaks to incorporate the same.

This dance is practised every evening by the sadhaks, the young and the middle aged, the men and the ladies alike. It gives the sadhak a feel of body and mind liberation as one glides around.
